Hospitality Management
Hospitality Management is the heart of hotel management and tourism hospitality. This module provides a comprehensive view of the evolution of the sector, the types of accommodation facilities, operational and strategic management, as well as the fundamental skills to offer an excellent hospitality experience.
- Tourism evolution: development of tourism in Trentino and in Italy, hotel classification and star system, differences between hotel and extra-hotel facilities, tourist packages, difference between service and product;
- Reception and reservations: functions of the reception department, distinction between front and back office, professional requirements, management of telephone, email, live and indirect reservations;
- Ownership and management: hotel ownership models, functional organization chart, organization of hotel spaces;
- Soft & Hard Skills: importance of technical and transversal skills, customer perception management, the Guest Cycle, communication and coordination, linguistic register, up-selling and cross-selling strategies;
- Managerial management: power and leadership management, statistical analysis of the number of hotels at national level, professional ethics, managerial skills, Room Division Management and Time Management;
- PMS Ericsoft Suite 5: using the hotel management software, learning the key functions, acronyms and operational meanings.

Bio
Luca Meneghini has been working in the hospitality sector for over thirty years. He is currently Director of the Luna Wellness Hotel in Folgarida di Dimaro and Senior Project Manager for Hotel Klinik, a consulting firm with which he oversees numerous facilities in Trentino and Piedmont. At the same time, he works as a trainer and teacher for public and private institutions and professional schools, focusing on advanced training in the tourism and hospitality sector.
His career began in 1994 in the real estate sector, before founding and managing the Residenza Kaiserkrone** in Dimaro** for almost ten years, an entrepreneurial experience that allowed him to develop a comprehensive vision of the tourism business. He subsequently held positions of increasing responsibility in establishments of excellence such as Villa Orso Grigio*** and Carlo Magno Hotel SPA & Resort****s**, before returning to the Luna Wellness Hotel as director in 2014, where he now leads a motivated team, focusing on quality, innovation, and promoting the local area.
As a consultant and trainer, he designs tailor-made programs for improving business performance: from management control to leadership, from team building to strategic repositioning. He currently works with ten hotels in Trentino and Veneto. His approach is pragmatic, focused on listening and finding sustainable solutions.
He has collaborated with training institutions such as CFP Enaip Tesero and Tione, the Hotel Management School of Rovereto and Levico Terme, as well as several companies engaged in continuing education. Convinced that people make the real difference in the sector, he focuses his work on effective communication, team motivation, and individual growth.
He has cross-functional skills in business management, accounting, human resources, and omnichannel sales, and is an expert user of digital tools, CRM, and training platforms. Training in Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) has rounded out his profile, strengthening his leadership and group management skills.
He firmly believes in the value of dialogue, continuous improvement, and training as a strategic lever for success in the tourism sector.
Lucian Berescu

These are the three keywords that have always guided Lucian Berescu’s work and professional mission. He supports individuals and organizations in expressing their full potential through conscious, effective, and transformative communication.
Born in Romania and resident in Italy since 2001, he has a solid academic background in linguistic mediation and communication for tourism and business, with a specialization in Linguistic Sciences from the University of Trento. He is fluent in Italian, English, French, and Romanian.
Over the years, he has gained extensive and consistent experience in the fields of hospitality, training, and linguistic and communication consulting.
Since 2023, he has been a lecturer at AFP, bringing to the classroom not only theoretical knowledge but also skills gained in the field in over ten years of working in 3, 4, and 4*S hotels in Trentino, Friuli, and Veneto. She currently holds the position of manager at the Hotel Vela in Trento, where she is responsible for commercial communication, reservation management, and reception, with a particular focus on customer experience and problem solving.
His professional career ranges from journalism in Romanian to training and consulting for companies in the fields of communication and marketing, consolidating extensive experience in strategic communication. Since 2017, he has also been a judge in regulated debate competitions for the Association for Culture and the Promotion of Debate in Padua. He has also collaborated with the Ad Personam Office of the FSE – Autonomous Province of Trento as a consultant for transnational mobility and group leader in language and cultural immersion projects in the United Kingdom and Ireland.
